Some friends of mine have started a new project. It's a games blog called The Reticule.
From The Reticule's about page:
We have come together with the sole aim of becoming the most important PC gaming blog in existence. Well that is the long-term aim, for now we just want to spread our message of peace and love. In all honesty we are just a group of university, or just out of university fellows who really enjoy writing about PC games. We believe that apart from a tiny handful of sites PC gaming isn’t given the focus and recognition it deserves. We see many people claim that PC gaming is dying, to them we give one middle finger. Each. So five middle fingers standing proud in honour of supporting the PC as a games platform. We aren’t just focused on doing the news, frankly there are way too many sites out there that do that for us anyway, nay we want to gain a reputation for fine writing, intuitive thoughts and hell, maybe even some stuff that will cause riots. As with any decent gaming blog, we have our very own Steam Community Group, check it out here and join the chat. We all take our influences from Class-A narcotics. We each have our own death-trance induced writing styles and we won’t be compromising them for the sake of currying favour with the big game companies.
So far they have a rant about blood splats, an article on music in games and a Fallout 3 review: go and check them out now!
