Paranoia Game 1 Night 1
So we finally got around to playing paranoia. We eventually got JParanoia set up and running, Tom and Steve had randomly generated characters and I had the dubious honour of being GM. The game began with Tryst-R-OFN-1 (Tom) and Tyer-R-TIT-1 (Steve) in their apartment eating cold fun whilst seated in the designated food consumption zone when the voice of Friend Computer boomed out and informed them that they had been selected to perform a service to Alpha Complex. It went downhill from there. After Tyer-R-TIT-1 summarily executed Tryst-R-OFN-1 for accusing the computer of being less than perfect, his clone Tryst-R-OFN-2 was observed eating a pickled egg (contraband food) and had to be brought in for interrogation as to establish the infra-red market source of this treasonous item. After arriving at the interrogation centre (by which time, Tryst-R-OFN-2 had for some reason wet himself) they were lead to an interrogation chamber by a completely incompetent IntSec guard who proceeded to mess up the interrogation and give Tryst-R-OFN-2 the chance to convince Friend Computer that Tyer-R-TIT-1 was the traitor and not he. After a brief scuffle in the hall way, which involved Tyer-R-TIT-1 (a terrible marksman) almost knocking himself out with a poorly aimed laser shot and a mis aimed throw of his gun at the approaching Tryst-R-OFN-2 (which he caught and turned on him, amusingly), Tyer-R-TIT-1 ended up surrounded by IntSec guards in a barracks with no means of escape. Attempting to barge his way out he lifted up a bed with his impressive strength and charged at the assembled guards who were preparing to displace him with hand grenades only to end up falling on top of them and being destroyed in a large explosion. Last nights game ended as Tyer-R-TIT-2 turned up and the two clones prepared to complete their original mission. All that for a pickled egg.
