Doukutsu Monogatari's Cave Story is a freeware japanese side scrolling platformer and Jonny Greenwood thinks it's a work of art. The game has been translated to english by fans and can be downloaded along with an English language patch here. The game features a cast of fun characters and weapons and has been praised for its proffesional polish and gameplay.
